Initially, VEI issued Star Blazers on VHS video cassette in an 2-episode per tape format (just like the old Kidmark tapes). Since these were sold separately, the natural question was: which episodes were on which tape.
This page lists which Star Blazers episodes are on which of VEI's tapes (indexed by Volume (tape) number). I don't think these tapes are still sold, but you might find them at Sci-Fi conventions or in video rental stores.
NOTE: The episodes were later released in boxed sets with 4 to 6 tapes covering each TV series. Likewise, in recent months, the DVDs have been published. Sorry I don't have information on the box set tapes or DVDs, yet. But, since the box set tapes must be bought as a set anyway, and since the DVD labelling does indicate which episodes are on each disc, there is no point.
English episode title translation is purely artificial. The Star Blazers episodes published by Voyager Entertainment do not have titles, and are known only by Season title, Volume (tape) number, and Episode number.

In the year 2199, planet Earth is facing extinction. In the late 21st century, the military forces of mysterious planet, Gamilon, began to bombard Earth with deadly radiation planet bombs. To escape the radiation, the people of Earth moved to underground cities. But, Earth's days were numbered. In 2199, all life on Earth has only one year left before the radiation penetrates down to the underground cities.
From the Greater Magellanic Cloud comes a message of hope, from Queen Starsha of the planet Iscandar, a planet 148,000 light-years away. She offers the Cosmo DNA device to Earth, which is the only thing that can remove the radioactivity. With Earth's space fleets defeated, the Space Cruiser Argo is rebuilt from the rusting hulk of the sunken World War II battleship, the Yamato. Earth gathers 114 of its finest and bravest young people to set out on the mission to retrieve the Cosmo DNA. They are called the Star Force. Their quest for Iscandar becomes a race against both time and the forces of Gamilon, and embodies mankind's struggle to defy fate.
Throughout their year-long oddessy of 260,000 light-years, the Star Force encounters terror and wonder, both elemental and human. Characters develop and mature as the subtle sub-plots unfold. Combat Leader Derek Wildstar struggles with the loss of his whole family to the Gamilons; his rivalry with friend and crewmate, Mark Venture; and begins to fall in love with Nova, the Star Force's radar operator. Head Mechanic Sandor's unfortunate past surfaces, and we learn that he is a cyborg. Captain Avatar, the Star Force's wise leader, suffers from radiation poisoning, and kept going only by the medical skills of the comedic Dr. Sane.
Leader Desslok, the supreme commander of Gamilon, throws his forces -- one-by-one -- into the path of the Star Force. By the time the Gamilons take the Star Force as a serious threat, it has gotten half-way to Iscandar. Desslok commissions General Lysis for a decisive battle at the "Rainbow Galaxy" to halt its advance, and is prepared to drag the Star Force to Gamilon itself if the arrogant general fails. Will the Star Force succeed in its mission? The 26 episodes of the first season ("The Quest for Iscandar"), originally aired weekly, will tell this amazing story.
The story of Star Blazers is perhaps one of the best examples of episodic sci-fi "space opera", animated or otherwise, and its pattern can be seen in many series which followed it (Star Wars, Star Trek, and Babylon 5). Its mature and sophisticated themes have won its place in the hearts of countless devoted fans across the globe.
