We have listed the characters according to their English names as used in Star Blazers, where applicable. We have also included the Japanese names in the Character Lists.

Let it be understood that we consider the Star Blazers names to be the most appropriate English translation for purposes here in this document, and therefore use them when translating character names, song and episode titles, etc. This is done out of a need for consistency and familiarity among most of the English-speaking Star Blazers fans.

Let it be further understood that the original Japanese text of such translated titles use the Japanese names (obviously).
